Please read the guidance below, follow the instructions displayed at the property and contact us when you are unsure about equipment or access.
Emergency assistance
For police, fire, ambulance or another immediate emergency in Spain, call 112. Give the operator your name, the nature of the emergency and your location. The property is near Carratraca in Málaga province; the exact address and map link are provided in your arrival information.
Report problems promptly
Tell Frank or Saskia immediately about a hazard, accident, electrical issue, water leak, damaged item or access problem. Do not attempt technical repairs yourself. Quick reporting helps us protect you, other guests and the historic building.
Historic building and surfaces
The restored watermill contains original stone, level changes and integrated mill features. Take care on steps and uneven surfaces, use available lighting and wear suitable footwear. Outdoor natural stone, gravel and areas near the swimming pool can become slippery.
Swimming pool
The outdoor pool is approximately 5.80 metres long and 1.30 metres deep and is not heated. Assess the conditions before entering, follow on-site instructions and supervise anyone in your care. Do not run on wet surfaces or use the pool when conditions are unsafe.
Climate, fire and smoking
Andalusian summers can be hot and dry. Stay hydrated, use sun protection and take extra care with heat and open flames. Smoking is permitted only outdoors. Never leave cigarettes, the barbecue or other heat sources unattended, and comply with any temporary local fire restrictions.
Air conditioning and other equipment
Bedroom air conditioning and heating are controlled by remote. Ask us for help if you are unfamiliar with the equipment. Switch devices off when not required and do not cover, dismantle or relocate electrical equipment.
Parking and vehicle access
Guest parking is accessed through the entrance to the property. Drive slowly, follow directions on arrival and keep pedestrian and emergency routes clear.
Walking, cycling and mountain activities
Carratraca is surrounded by mountain roads, trails and natural areas. Check the weather, opening conditions and route difficulty before leaving. Carry sufficient water, navigation and suitable equipment. For activities operated by third parties, follow the operator’s safety instructions and eligibility requirements.
