This policy explains the responsibilities of El Bufón de la Corte and its guests in practical terms. It should be read together with the booking confirmation, house rules and safety information. Nothing on this page excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
Our responsibility
We take reasonable care to provide the accommodation and services described in your confirmed reservation and to maintain the property in a safe, usable condition. Please report a defect, accident or material difference promptly so we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and assist.
Your responsibility
Guests must use the rooms, shared spaces, pool, parking, appliances and access equipment with reasonable care and follow on-site instructions. The lead guest is responsible for ensuring that everyone included in the reservation understands the house rules and provides the required registration information.
Damage and loss caused by guests
Tell us immediately about accidental damage, breakage, a lost remote control or another incident affecting the property. Guests may be responsible for reasonable costs arising from damage or loss caused deliberately, negligently or through a serious breach of the house rules, subject to the circumstances and applicable law.
Personal belongings
Guests remain responsible for looking after luggage, documents, money, vehicles and other personal belongings. Notify us promptly if an item is lost or if you believe a theft has occurred. We will provide reasonable assistance, but liability for personal property depends on the facts and applicable law.
Third-party activities and services
Restaurants, transport providers, guides, activity operators, booking platforms and other independent suppliers are responsible for the services they provide. Their own conditions and safety requirements may apply. A recommendation or link from El Bufón de la Corte does not make us the operator of that third-party service.
Travel and outdoor conditions
Guests are responsible for assessing routes, weather, fitness and equipment for walking, cycling, motorcycling and other activities. Roads, mountain trails, attractions and natural areas may close or change for reasons outside our control. Follow official notices and qualified operator instructions.
Events outside reasonable control
Weather, utility interruptions, transport disruption, government measures, natural events and other circumstances beyond reasonable control may affect a stay or service. We will communicate and seek a reasonable solution where possible. Any right to cancellation, alternative performance or reimbursement remains subject to the reservation terms and mandatory law.
Reporting a concern
Raise a concern as soon as possible during the stay rather than waiting until departure. Provide relevant details and allow us to respond. For emergencies, call 112. See our safety information for further guidance.
