These payment terms explain the standard process for direct reservations with El Bufón de la Corte. Your booking offer and confirmation show the final price, due dates and any conditions specific to a room, package, promotion or last-minute rate. Those confirmed details take priority if they differ from this general page.
Accepted payment methods
We accept payment by bank transfer and cash. The payment method available for a particular reservation will be stated during the booking process or in our written confirmation. Any bank fees or currency-conversion costs charged by your provider remain your responsibility.
Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Your booking is confirmed once the deposit has been received and you have received confirmation by email.
Remaining balance
The remaining balance is normally due no later than one week before arrival. When a reservation is made close to the arrival date, a shorter payment schedule or full payment may apply. Follow the date shown in your confirmation.
What the room price includes
Standard room pricing includes normal cleaning. The client intake states that no security deposit and no tourist tax are currently charged. Breakfast or other services are included only when they are listed in the selected rate, room offer or package description.
Additional charges
During the summer period, electricity used for bedroom air conditioning may be charged per kWh. The applicable rate and method of calculation must be shown before you confirm the reservation or in your booking confirmation. Optional activities, package extras and third-party services are charged only when selected or agreed.
Prices and promotions
Prices are stated in euros unless clearly indicated otherwise. The client intake records the same seasonal room pricing at present, with possible last-minute offers. A promotion applies only to the dates, occupancy and conditions stated and cannot automatically be combined with another offer.
Non-payment
If a required payment is not received by the confirmed due date, contact us immediately. We may be unable to hold the reservation indefinitely. Any cancellation or release of the booking will be handled according to the conditions accepted for that reservation and applicable law.
Cancellations and refunds
Payment does not by itself determine refund eligibility. Please read the cancellation policy and refund policy, together with the specific terms in your confirmation.
Questions about an invoice or payment
Contact us before transferring funds if the account details, amount or reference are unclear. Include the lead guest’s name and booking reference in payment correspondence. Never send card details or identity documents through an unsecured public message.
